Home photo removal: Zillow, Redfin, Realtor.com and Street View compared
By HideMyHome · Updated October 13, 2026
Choose the request that matches the image
A listing gallery, a Street View panorama, and a property record are different things. Start by opening the page where the information appears. Record the URL and the exact item you want changed so you can check the outcome later.
This comparison covers US listing platforms and Google Street View. It describes published request routes, not measured success rates. It is not a list of Canadian platform coverage; contact us about a Canadian property before ordering if you need a particular site included.
Platform comparison
| Platform | Where to start | Scope and limits |
|---|---|---|
| Zillow | Claim the home; check Edit Facts. | Some recently sold homes let owners hide photos except the primary image. Property pages remain. |
| Redfin | Use My Homes → Edit Photos on the website. | Hide the off-market listing gallery. The mobile app lacks this control; Street View can replace the gallery. |
| Realtor.com | Request photo removal for an off-market home. | SmartMLS publishes a route for new owners to contact Realtor.com with ownership evidence. This is a separate request from Zillow or Redfin. |
| Google Street View | Open the panorama and use Report a Problem. | Eligible owners or tenants request a permanent house blur with proof of address. This does not remove listing galleries. |
| Local MLS / brokerage | Ask the listing agent or brokerage about their MLS rules. | Public photo suppression and deletion from the MLS are different. Rules vary; do not assume one change clears every copy. |

What about sold prices and property facts?
A photo tool is not a price-history tool. Zillow and Redfin retain property pages and provide routes to report incorrect records. Read what you can request about price history before paying for help. HideMyHome does not erase county records or guarantee suppression of accurate facts.
DIY or help with the requests
If one owner tool solves the problem, you can use it yourself without buying our service. HideMyHome charges for assistance with owner-authorized requests. Paying does not change the platform’s rules or guarantee an outcome.
Choose a plan based on whether you need listing requests, Street View assistance, or both. The prices and scope are below. Read how HideMyHome works or contact us with a coverage question.
Have HideMyHome send the requests
HideMyHome listing removal requests cost $49.99 USD once, or $69.99 CAD on the Canada site. You enter the property address, confirm you are the owner, pay once, and sign an authorization. We contact major real estate sites and ask them to remove listing photos, price history, and property details. There is no subscription and no monitoring plan. Each site decides what it will change.
US customers can also choose Street View only ($39.99 USD) or Listings + Street View ($79.99 USD). Google reviews blur requests and may require proof of address. An applied blur is permanent. Compare Street View options and limits.
